An Ordinance further to amend the Pakistan Engineering
Council Act, 1975

No. F. 17 (I)/82-Pub.--The following Ordinance made
by the Acting President on the 16th November 1982, is hereby published for
general information :-
Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Pakistan Engineering Council
Act, 1975 (V of 1976), for the purpose hereinafter appearing; And whereas
the Acting President is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it
necessary to take immediate action;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the Proclamation of the fifth day of July
1977, read with clause (2) of Article 2 of the Acting President Order, 1978
(P. O. No. 7 of 1978), and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that
behalf, the Acting President is pleased to make and promulgate the following
Ordinance :-
1. Short title and commencement.-(1) This Ordinance
may be called the Pakistan Engineering Council (Amendment) Ordinance, 1982.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. Amendment of section 9, Act V of 1976.-In the Pakistan
Engineering, Council Act, 1975 (V of 1976), in section 9, in subsection (2),
in clause ( f) for the word "two" the word "three" shall
be substituted.
